I’ve been a Trainer/Strength Coach since the 1980-81 school year and have worked with more than hundreds of elite athletes, Olympians, professional athletes and fitness clients in my career. I have abundant in-depth experience with virtually every form of exercise but most of my clients say that my greatest asset is my ability to motivate and inspire people.
It has a lot to do with the Athletic Performance program that makes good athletes and teams better, and better athletes and teams the best. It is strength and power training; the development of speed, agility, and quickness; and proper rest and nutrition that creates a breed of confident, motivated winning competitors.
These Athletic Performance attributes are developed through a year-round strength and conditioning program. It is the foundation, the essence, of becoming a CHAMPION. The developmental aspects of Athletic Performance become essential components of success for all athletes in all sports. Coaches can no longer rely on the natural size and talents of athletes to achieve excellence. Athletes generally need to develop the qualities of Athletic Performance through sound strength and conditioning principles and proper nutrition. To reach their desired goals and achieve their full potential athletes must also be dedicated and disciplined.

Regular physical activity is vital to a successful wellness and weight management lifestyle.One of the top excuses for people to choose to not begin or continue in a lifestyle of fitness is they just do not have time to train. With the busyness of our lives, work schedules, kids schedules, drive time, etc., finding time to train can be more than a challenge. We are bombarded with being told you need 30 minutes of cardio training each day to maintain heart health and maximize fat burning. It is also commonly said 45-60 minutes of strength training to build valuable muscle mass and boost metabolism. Many people pursue this type of plan and find they just are not able to set aside 75-90 minutes of training each day or even 3 times per week. They begin to miss workouts and then quit all together out of frustration of not meeting their minimum training goals.
We use Peripheral Heart Action (PHA) training for pretty much all of our fitness clients to get them the maximum results in a minimum of time. PHA training can be tailored to meet your specific daily, weekly and long term training goals.
Having started a women's strength training program in 1982, this experience has evolved into training and preparing women for competition in figure/physique/bodybuilding and competitive powerlifting/weightlifting.
